As association professionals, we always want to know what is really on our members mind - but it seems those true thoughts and feelings are locked away deep inside their heads. Perhaps we're not asking the right questions - or the right way.
Join Shari to hear how she's been getting her members to spill the beans for years! You will walk away from this HSAE luncheon eaager to launch the next questionnaire - this time with better tips and tools to dig deeper into what your members truly think and feel.
SHARI EPSTEIN is the director of research for the International Facility Management Association, a Houston, Texas based association. She has conducted a number of studies related to workplace issues such as shrinking office space, outsourcing and violence in the workplace. Excepts from her research have cited in many publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Business Week, Forbes and USA Today. She conducts all of IFMA's membership research studies and coordinates IFMA's Best Practices Forum. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin and a master's of business administration from Texas A&M University and has more than 20 years experience in the research field.
