Review the following Membership Categories to determine your membership eligibility . . . .

Executive Member– An individual non-transferable membership offered to any individual association executive devoting a major portion of his/her working hours to association responsibilities.

Associate Member – A individual non-transferable membership offered to any individual association staff person devoting a major portion of his/her working hours to association responsibilities.

Industry Partner (Vendors & Suppliers) – A membership consisting of 2 representatives offered to any firm that provides products, service or facilitates for associations such as hotels, meeting planners, software companies, insurance and financial services. As a corporate membership, representatives may be re-assigned when one leaves the corporation’s employment.

Jo D. Miller, President, 713-783-9225 Jo D. Miller serves the Houston Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) as Executive Director. IREM is affiliated with the National Association of Realtors. It is a global organization celebrating its 75th Anniversary in 2008. The Houston Chapter office is the fourth largest Chapter in the U.S. with 600 Houston members. Miller supports the IREM organization in several areas including communications, advocacy, member education, community service, development, strategic management and more Miller joined IREM in 2000 after a seven year career at the Houston Bar Association (HBA), first in the Communications Department and then as Director of Special Events and Programs. In the early years at IREM, she also served as the Certified Commercial Investment Members (CCIM) association executive. Some of our volunteer opportunities.

Programs Committee - Helps with inding locations for monthly luncheons, registration at the door, finding speakers, and marketing. For more information, please contact Jo D. Miller at 713-783-9225 or Julie George at 713-623-2740.

Membership Committee - Helps with recruiting membership, volunteer efforts, membership mailings, and greeting guests at monthly luncheons and events. For more information please contact Vicky Aranda at 713-552-1236 or Lori Carper at 713-629-1900.

Social Committee - Helps plan two or more social events a year for members and nonmembers, helps with finding the locations, registration and just having fun! For more information, please contact Jennifer Lindsay at 832-667-1641.
