Have you registered to hear Cong. Ted Poe this Friday?

Change is the name of the game in associations.  Come to the HSAE lunch on Friday and you may stay a step ahead as Cong. Ted Poe tells us what is brewing.

A representative of the 2nd Congressional District, Cong. Ted Poe was elected to Congress after serving as judge for 22 years.  As a judge, Poe was often known for creative punishments.  He made his name as a tough Harris County prosecutor and never lost a jury trial.

HSAE Seeks Board Member

Josena Arquieta has retired from the Women Contractors Association and resigned from the board of HSAE to focus on her business. This creates an opportunity for a member who would like to contribute his/her skills to an organization of our peers.  If you are interested, please contact Allison Kelley, HSAE president, at 832-717-5200.

HSAE Lunch Price to Rise

With the higher costs of hotel meals and the advent of credit card reservations, the board of HSAE has reluctantly decided to raise the price of member luncheons to $30, beginning with the May luncheon.

Use the HSAE Job Bank

Already this year, seven jobs have been posted in the HSAE job bank.  For member postings, we also send out a newsletter alerting the membership that a job has been posted.  However, you may want to check the job bank more frequently if you are in the market.  A posting is $50 for one month of website exposure.  Remember to use the HSAE job bank when you are looking for staffThe job bank is a benefit of membership enabled by our website, donated by Schipul-The Web Marketing Company.

Try this question.

The answer will be given at the luncheon on April 28.
