Rutledge will be honored, along with her husband Dick, for her 30 years of service to the Society as its executive director. The Houston CPA Society also will be celebrating its 80th year. The proceeds of this event go toward accounting scholarships (80%) and the rest go to CPAs Helping Schools. CPAs Helping Schools provides grants up to $3,000 for kindergarden through 12th grade public or private schools.
In addition to being a past president of HSAE in the 1980s, Nancy has also served on the board of directors for the Texas Society of Association Executives and is a member of American Society of Association Executives. She has been a mentor to many HSAE members as well as CPAs.
